中樂小知識：柳琴 Chinese Instruments 101: Liuqin

第六種樂器是大家都常常和琵琶混淆的柳琴。柳琴的外型與琵琶相近，但是在體積上略小。過往它在中樂團所擔任的角色都是高音伴奏。近幾年來逐漸成為民族音樂的主要樂器，並且開始獨力演奏。

Liuqin also is a pear shaped but with four stringed instrument. Liuqin is a bit smaller than Pipa but the shape is quite similar. The range of its voice is a bit higher than Pipa so it will be one of the high range instruments in opera. In recent years, Liuqin has become a main instrument for national music.
