中樂小知識：木葉 Chinese Instruments: Muye

第八種民族樂器是木葉，其實就是一片樹葉而已。這是最古老的民族樂器。相傳這種樂器最初並非用來奏樂而是守獵，因為樂器材料較為簡單。不同種類的樹葉吹出的音域都略有不同。其所發出的聲響十分清脆。現時在少數民族有些少年會選擇吹奏這樂器以示愛。

Muye is a leaf which is the oldest wind instrument. At the beginning, people played it for hunt because it was easy to use and the material was easy to find. Different kinds of leaf has different ranges. Nowadays, some teenagers may use it to speak out.
